Abstract (EN)

In this study, whole mount in situ hybridization, acridine orange staining and histological analysis were used to investigate the effects of bisphenol A (BPA) on zebrafish primordial germ cells. In addition, effects of BPA on development was investigated with stereo microscopy.In the results of research explored with 4mg/L and 8 mg/L BPA, morphological anomalies was observed. As a result of acridine orange staining, apoptosis wasn?t detected with low doses of BPA application. With whole mount in situ hybridization technique, increase in primordial germ cell number was seen and some of primordial germ cells was detected at ectopic locations. Primordial germ cell migration was followed with histological analysis. After BPA exposure, increase in primordial germ cell number, migration to ectopic locations, decrease in nuage material and glycogen granules in primordial germ cells were detected.
