Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between remote working, work-life balance and motivation of ICT-Based Mobile employees. For this purpose, it is among the main objectives to determine whether the work-life balance of ICT-based mobile workers is related to their motivation or not. The 1970s were the years when fordism went into crisis and left its place to the postfordist period. With the implementation of neoliberal policies in this period, labor markets began to change. New forms of employment have emerged due to reasons such as digitalization, flexibility in labor markets, global competition and increasing women's participation in employment. One of these employment types conceptualized as makeshift, atypical, precarious or flexible employment is teleworking and information and communication technologies (ICT) based mobile work (TBITM). TBITM is an arrangement where employees work, at least in a different location from the employer's company, using digital technologies such as networks, laptops, mobile phones and the internet. In today's conditions, with the advancement of technology, the number of ICT-based mobile workers has increased, and the concepts of work-life balance and motivation of employees have become an important element for wage earners and employers. Field research was conducted in this study. Quantitative methods were also used to collect data. The data were collected with the help of a questionnaire. The obtained data were analyzed in Spss program. For the research sample, 400 people working in the software industry were reached, and analyzes were carried out for 395 people who answered the research questions appropriately. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the work-life balance of bit-based mobile work is high, and that there is a significant and positive relationship between internal and external motivations. Work-life balance and motivations were examined in detail, and the results were examined in detail whether there was a significant difference according to gender, marital status, age, education level, number of children, number of dependents, frequency of remote work, daily working hours and seniority. It was concluded that the forms were significant. The significance of the relationship between work-life balance and motivation was examined by regression and correlation analyses, and a significant and positive relationship was found between work-life balance and intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation.
