Abstract (EN)
It is known that Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacterias effect on plant growth and fruit quality. For this purpose, field trials were conducted in order to investigate the effects of plant growth promoting rhizobacterias on plant growth, fruit quality, yield and nutrient element uptake of two plant materials of Kırkağaç 637 and local melon genotype belongs to Arguvan in two different locations (irrigated and non-irrigated) in Arguvan province of Malatya city. In the study, Bacillus subtillis (T2), Enterecoccus spp. (T3), Bacillus megatorium (T4) and mixtures of three bacteria (T5) were used. These were compared with control (T1) application, which is not treated with any bacteria. It has been determined that the applied rhizobacterias have a statistically significant effect on plant growth parameters on all other parameters except for leaf fresh weight, stem dry weight and leaf dry weight parameters in some dates and locations only. The most prominent application of these parameters is T2 (Bacillus subtillis) application. The effects of different bacteria on the fruit pomological properties were not found statistically significant except for the TSS values of Kırkağaç 637 cultivars grown under non-irrigated conditions. The mean values of this parameter were measured as 12% and 10.4% in control during the first and seconnd experiment years 14.1% and 12.6% in T2 (Bacillus subtillis) respectively. It has been determined that different bacterias affect different element levels at different years and locations on the mineral contents (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu) of the leaves.
