Abstract (EN)

This thesis involved characterization and synthesis of plant oil based polyacrylamide and plant oil based polymethacrylamide cryogels. For obtaining comonomers, autoxidized soya oil and autoxidized linseed oil polymeric peroxides were reacted with diethanol amine to hydroxylated soya oil polymers and hydroxylated linseed oil polymers. The hydroxyl groups of the water soluble oils were reacted with methacryloyl chloride to obtain methacryloyl soybean oil (MSO) and methacryloyl linseed oil (MLO). Polyacrylamide-co-polymethacryloyl soybean oil (PAAm-co-PMSO), polymethacrylamide-co-polymethacryloylsoybean oil (PMAm-co-PMSO), polyacrylamide-co-polymethacryloyl linseed oil (PAAm-co-PMLO) and polymethacrylamide-co-polymethacryloyl linseed oil (PMAm-co-PMLO) cryogels were synthesized by radical cryo polymerization of MSO and MLO with acrylamide methacrylate (AAm) and methacrylamide (MAm). For comparison, polyacrylamide (PAAm) and poly (methacrylate) (PAAm) cryogels were also synthesized. The obtained cryogels and comonomers were characterized by molecular structures with 1H NMR, FTIR techniques, thermal properties DSC, TGA techniques, surface morphology with SEM-EDX, specific surface area values with Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) model using multi point analysis.
