Arabic education in Bitlis-Mutki Ohin Madrasa (Teachers - assistants - principles of education – books)

Our study reveals information about Arabic education, madrasah masters, principles and methods of education in the Ohin Madrasah whics is in the city of Mutki, Bitlis province. Since there was no written research about the madrasah, we continued our work and followed a way by using a face to face questioning method with the members of the Madrasah and the students. During the interview, questions and answers were recorded and then these records were written. Our aim here is to identify the system applied at the madrasahs and the level attained especially at the level of Arabic education and present it to the service of the academic field. It is important that the education systems should be brought to light as these madrasahs have independent and uncontrolled activities since the last days of the Ottoman Empire. As a result, we think that we have achieved our goal. Because, in our work, we have reached the possibility of locating the day-to-day activities of the madrasah , principles and methods of the books being taught.
