Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to determine the effect of different fertilizer applicaions on morphological, agronomic and technological properties of basil (Ocimum basilicum L.) in 2019 vegetation period. The study was designed according to Factorial Trial Design in Randomized Complete Block with three replications in İznik district of Bursa Province. Biomanure (Mycorrhiza, Azotobacter, Trichoderma) and inorganic fertilizer (Ammonium Sulphate) were used in the experiment. As a result of the study, plant height was found between 49,00-86,43 cm and habitus width was found between 23,67-47,20 cm. Fresh herb, dry herb and dry leaf were found between 3510,89-5161,68 kg/da, 454,03-704,19 kg/da, 210,94-350,31 kg/da in different fertilizer applications, respectively. The essential oil ratio was determined to be 0,70-1,48%, and the main components of essential oil were found as methyl chavicol, citral and geranial. The antioxidant activity was found between 207,39-380,67 µMol TE/g and the total phenolic contents were found between 15,79-32,90 mg GAE/g. According to results obtained from the study, trichoderma application, mycorrhiza application and mycorrhiza+azotobacter application can be recommended in terms of yield, the main component of essential oil as methyl chavicol and antioxidant capacity and total phenolic content, respectively.
