Abstract (EN)

In this study, polyfluran (PF/Pt) and poly(3-methylthiophene) (P3MT/Pt) modified platinum electrodes were prepared and used for amperometric and voltammetric determinations of some important biogen amines for the first time. Black adherent PF and P3MT films were deposited on Pt electrodes by potentiostatically in acetonitrile and by potentiodynamically in dichloromethane, respectively. Synthesized and biogen amine interacted polymeric films were characterized with electrochemical, UV-Vis, ATR-IR, SEM and EDS techniques. The electrocatalytically direct oxidation of biogen amines on modified electrodes were performed in pH:2.0 0.2 M sulfate buffer solution. The current responses of modified electrodes were found more sensitive than that of Pt electrode. Under optimized conditions, in amperometric determinations of putrescine, histamine and tyramine with PF/Pt at 1.20 V, the limit of detections 6.63 × 10-4 mM, 7.33 × 10-2 mM and 3.96 × 10-4 mM, the linear concentration ranges 2.2 × 10-3 – 125 mM, 2.44 × 10-1 – 35 mM and 1.32 × 10-3 – 15 mM were found, respectively. In voltametric determination of tyramine with P3MT/Pt electrode at 0.80 V, the limit of detection and linear concentration range were found 1.32 × 10-3 mM and 4.40 × 10-3 – 14 mM respectively. The reproducibility of the experiments were tested by using three new modifying electrodes in measuring at the same concentrations for each of the biogenic amines and satisfactory results were obtained. For practical applications of the developed methods, the amperometric measurements of putrescine, histamine and tyramine with PF/Pt electrode in standard supplemented human serum, and the voltametric determination of tyramine with P3MT/Pt electrode in acid extraction of moldy cheese were performed.
