Abstract (EN)

Industrial and domestic wastes that have a heterogeneous structure consisting of furniture, paint, batteries, food waste, sachets, bottles, fabrics, fibers and other wastes in home and office etc. places where are the result of the activities that people show to sustain their daily lives are called municipal solid waste. RDF can be defined as a wastes in MSW such as platics, fibers, fabric etc. They can not recycle and they can burn in a useful system after render process. In this thesis study, samples of RDF1 (taken in December) and RDF2 (taken in June) samples obtained from different periods, bovine fertilizer, pigeon fertilizer and swage sludge were used and ultimate, proximate, thermal value, X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) , thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis were carried out.In the analysis conducted, RDF with high fuel quality was determined from the RDF samples. Combustion characteristics were investigated by mixing 10%, 30%, 70% of fertilizer types with this RDF sample. It has been observed that RDF1 sample is a more efficient fuel when the fuel quality for RDF samples is compared in the analyzes. For this reason mixtures were made with RDF1 sample. It was observed that the RDF supplemented with 10% bovine fertilizer was even better than the RDF1 sample. It was seen that the mixture above this value affected the combustion in the negative direction. Pigeon fertilizer can help combustion of RDF1 for lower values. After these values its effect ın combustion process become negative. Effect of pigeon fertilizer on combustion of sewage sludge show the similar with RDF. As a result, changes in fuel values and characterization have been observed due to the fact that the fuel mixtures affect the combustion in certain positive and negative proportions and the ATY content changes according to the month.
