Abstract (EN)
This study aimed at determining the situation against to possible biowar threats available resources of Turkey in comparison to the work performed in the developed countries throughout the world. In addition to this, a diagnosis system which would allow identification of suspicious phenomenon in the most effective and the shortest way was suggested. Moreover, the study provided suggestions to increase the effectiveness of clinical treatment for the victims affected from the phenomenon. It is important to note that the study does not intend to criticize the performance of our medical staff under these circumstances.Similar studies have been carried out recently in western countries; however, the results of these studies never provide expected outcomes. The system suggested in this study would require widespread national training and preperation supported with a powerful surveillance system. In addition, it is essential to establish early detection system and provide effective collaboration amongst the institutions. Despite the huge govermental efforts in the USA, such as billions of dollars spent, legal regulations legislated, commisions and reports generated, the US government accepts and declares that they are unable to fully control the management of the unexpected threats. As a conclusion, the present study emphasizes the importance and requirement of the preparation for an urgent national plan. Besides, it is essential to collaborate with primarily European countries in order to remove the barriers restricting the supplies for the medicine and vaccines which are the most important needs.
