Biomedical image segmentation

Image segmentation is one of the image processing techniques that have been started to be used in almost every areas and it has a big role in mediacal diagnosis and treatment. Due to iöage segmentation approaches? giving results that specific to images, approaches specific to medical images about this area have been gradually increased. Especially the techniques applied to CT and MR image slices allow these images to be utilized as possible. ?n this study, basic operations for image segmentation and enhancement have been described dwelling on the importance of biomedical image segmentation; two novel approaches on efor image enhancement and the other for image segmentation have been proposed.
