Abstract (EN)

Today, Web-based distance education is gaining a great interest due its popularity. Its practices are increasingly seen in many countries around the world. In this thesis, a content development process for Learning management system (LMS) was described. In the study, open source coded Moodle LMS was used. An appropriate platform was used so that all contents were compatible with LMS. 2D and 3D interactive objects were used with contents where developed in Web based Training of Biomedical Specialists project under European community Life Long Learning Program. Developed contents with interactive objects were embedded in content tree with an XML file. In the study, test and evaluation applications such as testing, assessment of results, student performance monitoring and statistics become much easier. The training of biomedical specialists, without time and space limitation is aimed with the course content model described in the thesis.
