The evaluation of "The Project of We are Anatolia" in terms of Turkish public administration

The project of "We are Anatolia" aim to reinforce our unity and solidarity, and develop the spirit and consciousness of brotherhood. The project was implemented in 47 provinces which are located in different regions of our country. The project includes visits of 50.000 children under the age of 15 years to different cities of our country for at least 3 days. The project of "We are Anatolia" was discussed, analyzed and evaluated in terms of Turkish Public Administration in the thesis. There are five research questions in the thesis: • Was the project of "We are Anatolia" implemented successfully? • Has the project of "We are Anatolia" achieved its goals successfully? • What were the effects of the project of "We are Anatolia" on Turkish Public Administration? • What are the deficiencies in the implementation of the project of "We are Anatolia", how can the deficiencies be solved? • Should the project of "We are Anatolia" continue? The case study design has been chosen in the dissertation. The opinions of 40 deputy governors who work in the provinces where the project was implemented were discussed, analysed and evaluated in terms of Turkish Public Administration in the thesis. Primary and secondary data collection methods were used to answer the research questions in the thesis. A questionnaire and documentary sources such as government publications, books, articles, dissertations, newspapers and website pages were used in the thesis. Both quantitative and qualitative research methods were used in this dissertation, and the data was analysed using Microsoft Excel Software. According to the data obtained from the research, it was revealed that the project of "We are Anatolia" was successfully implemented. It is understood that the project has successfully achieved its goals. The effects of the project on the Turkish Public Administration have been revealed. The deficiencies in the implementation of the project of "We are Anatolia" and how the deficiencies can be solved have been revealed. In addition, it was revealed that the project should continue. Subjectivism of the researcher and respondents and organisational culture were the limitation of the research.
