Abstract (EN)

In recent years, rapid developments have emerged in digital communication technologies. Especially the development in the internet and mobile phones is the most important of these. This development has resulted in important changes in people's lives and also provided a suitable environment for attackers trying to access confidential and private information. One solution to protect this information is to use cryptography. Cryptography has been used in military fields to securely transport confidential information from one place to another, especially in the last century. Cryptography deals with the processes of encrypting and decrypting data. Data encryption is defined as the process of converting plain text into an incomprehensible format (cipher text) using a secret key; decryption is the opposite. The cryptographic key used here is a secret parameter. Decryption without a key is very unlikely in cryptography. Cryptography has transferred all its incomprehensibility from the cipher to the key. For this reason, the generation of these keys is very significant. The generation of the cryptographic key has formed a strong link between cryptography and random numbers, because the key is confidential and it should not be disclosed or predicted by anyone. So the key is randomly selected. The key can be predicted by looking at some irregularities or patterns in the bit strings that form the key, so the random selection of the key and its length are very important. As a consequence, good cryptography requires good random numbers. Statistical random number generators, or DRNG, are used in a wide variety of fields such as mathematics, engineering, medicine and social sciences. Among these generators, Blum Blum Shub generator has been an approach frequently preferred by researchers in their studies for many years. The seed values nd prime numbers in the Blum Blum Shub algorithm were determined using the chaotic system and the data obtained were subjected to the NIST test. It was found to be successful according to the test results.
