Development processes of countries occurring at different times have led to differences in development between countries. Development includes developments in the economic, social and cultural fields. Development differences occur between countries as well as between regions. Since regional development started to be seen as a problem, countries have implemented various policies to eliminate these differences. Entrepreneurship, which plays a key role in eliminating regional development disparities, has come to the fore as an important way for women to gain more place in employment. In addition to the benefits it provides to the family and the individual, women's entrepreneurship also contributes significantly to production, employment and national income. Encouraging women to entrepreneurial activities and providing the necessary support will increase the acceleration of development while gaining the country's economy. In this study; The effects of women entrepreneurs on regional development and their contribution to active working life have been researched. In this context, a questionnaire was applied to women entrepreneurs operating in the province of Çorum. The findings of the study show that women entrepreneurs are important in creating employment, increasing production, emerging new industries and eliminating the development differences between regions.
