This study focused on the implicit expressions in literary texts with the structure and content characteristic of the literary texts, which we used in foreign language teaching. This context also aims the problems at the translation, by the term `equivalence? in literary texts and contains the criticism of the novel entitled ?Der Zug war pünktlich? by Heinrich Böll, translated also into Turkish as ?Trenin tam saaatiydi? by Zeyyat Selimoglu.
