Abstract (EN)
his study was carried out between 2017-2019 in the villages of Bakacak, Yeşiltepe, Dipsizgöl ve Bıçkıyanı on the west side of Bolu Mountain belongs to Kaynaşlı district of Duzce province. In the research, important 35 local pear cultivars and genotypes grown in the region were examined phenologically, morphologically and pomologically. Pomological and morphological properties were studied in 2017 and 2018, while phenological properties were studied in 2018 and 2019. Bud burst in the local varieties and genotypes evaluated was between 07 March and 29 March, end of flowering between 13 April – 8 May, harvest date between 21 August – 20 October in 2018, while bud burst was between 14 March – 5 April, end of flowering between 17 April – 9 May and harvest date 25 August – 20 October in 2019. The fruit weight of the local pear varieties and genotypes subject to the study varied between 30,25-992,46 gr in 2017 and 35,24 gr and 1015,15 gr in 2018. It was determined that the pH content of the examined pears was between 3.63 and 6.12 in 2017 and between 2.82 and 5.61 in 2018. The amount of total soluable solids varied respectively between 7.50% - 16.50% and 8.50% - 15.50% in 2017 and 2018 and the titratable acidity value was measured between 0.10% -0.90% in both years. In terms of fruit firmness, varieties and genotypes are determined between 2.0 kg / cm2 and 11.0 kg / cm2 in 2017, and between 2.1 kg / cm2 and 12.1 kg / cm2 in 2018. As a result of the study, Dalkıran, İbrik-1 and İbrik 2 pears, which are grown for winter in the region and especially stand out in terms of fruit weights, have been identified as hopeful and it has been decided to start further studies on these genotypes.
