Male genital morphologies of some Chrysomelidae species Bolu, Düzce and Kırıkkale provinces

In the present work; the collected specimens by H. Özdikmen from various localities in Kırıkkale, Bolu and Düzce provinces in 2010-2011 were evaluated in light of the male genital morphologies.As the result of identification of the specimens, 37 species of 4 subfamilies as Clytrinae, Cryptocephalinae, Chrysomelinae and Cassidinae were determinte. General morphologies and male genital morphologies of the determined species were presented and photographed in the texts in detailed. In the results of the examinations, very big differences between the members of the subfamilies Clytrinae, Chrysomelinae and Cryptocephalinae which are three of totally four determined subfamilies, were observed. Male genital morphologies in these subfamilies were showed a very big difference that not only at the subfamily level but also at the genus level. Even distinct differences in the same genus can be recognize (e.g. the genera Chryptocephalus and Chrysolina). The status was proved that this subfamilies are originated poliphyletically. The male genital morphologies are showed more or less anologies in the members of subfamily Cassidinae. The status was proved that the subfamily Cassidinae is originated monophyletically. Also according to observetions of the present work, the subgenus Cryptocephalus (Cryptocephalus) can be separed into new subgenera.Key Words : Chrysomelidae, Bolu, Düzce, Kırıkkale, Male Genital, Morphology.
