Özet (EN)

In this study, the bryofloristic composition of Yukarı Gerede Valley which for inhabits some rare plants was designated as one of the 122 Important Plant Area of Turkey, was investigated. Along this research, 4 field trips were organised to the study area between 2011 and 2012. Throughout these field trips, collected specimens from 23 stations at the end of the macroscopic and microscopic examinations together with 8 from Marchantiophyta (Liverwort) , 81 from Bryophyta (Moss) of the area, in total 89 specific and infraspecific taxa belonging to 28 families and 52 genera, have been identified. However, Anthocerophyta (Hornwort) were not found in the area. Among the identified taxa, Campylium stellatum (Hedw.) Lange & C.E.O.Jensen and Hedwigia ciliata var. leucophaea Bruch & Schimp. are new records for A2 square according to the Henderson grid system. In the floristic list, the taxa are presented in a systematic hierarchy with collected localities, their distribution both in Turkey and in the world, some of their ecological features and life forms. In addition, the pictures which show macroscopic and diagnostic microscopical features belonging to each taxon are given by this study.
