Leisure time problem and the use of the media by the youth: A research on marriage and the virtual relations

Individuals define the time the of work as free time following emerge of capitalism accompanied By industrialization. They have People have the need of relaxing, entertainment and socialization out Of their working time. People's way of spending their free time highly changed together with rapidly developed technology following industrialization individuals have been moving away from the restricted World of Daily life through internet. They are getting socialized in these fields regardless of Location and time. New communication Technologies have shaped people, particularly the youth's way spending free time with internet Technologies including lager masses In this study ,the youth's relationships İn social nets which a wider and free field in internet are practiced and the first part of this thesis, New communication Technologies, concepts regarding new media use are mentioned ın the second part, new media and youth relationships are studied. In the third part, free time concepts, Ways of spending free time and youth's spending free time are focused. In the last part, a quantitative research is done on the youth's marriage and virtual relationships using new media.
