Abstract (EN)

Both quantitative and qualitative increase in divorce, as well asthe studies that are affected by this process, have begun to increase and diversity.This study was carried out to determine whether the psychological resilience of women who are in the precess of divorce is different according to their age, educational status, having children, living with family. The study included 85 women who lived in İzmir, had contetious divore case, had ildren nd were volunred fort he study. In the research, as a data collection tool, in order to measure psychological durability levels a Resilience Scala for Adults and a personal information form developed by the researcher were used to collect socio-demographic data. The data obtained from the measurement tools were transfered to SPSS 22.0 Program. In order to test the hypotheses proposed in the research firstly the distribition is evaluated as mormal distribution, then t test an done-way analysis of varience were used when it was concluded that it was disributed normally.The firs finding in this study that examined whether the psychological resilience levels of women in divorce period differ in terms of some variables, it has been concluded that the total scores of women in the divorce period from the psychological resilience scale do not differ in terms of age, working status, income status, having a child or living together with the family.On the other hand, when the psychological resilience scale sub-dimensions were examined, it was found that there was no significant difference in all sub-dimensions according to the variables of the job sitution, who resided and who provided the livelihood-however, it was found that in the subdimensions of structural style and social competence of the participants' ages, the status of education in the sub-dimension and the number of children differed in the social competence sub-dimension. As a result of the study, it is concluded that women who are trying to create aa new order during the divorce period have an important factor to strengten their coping skills and have a social support to perceive this process in a more healthy way, and this situation reflects the phychological resilience levels positively.
