The reasons of divorce of divorced women and their social accaptonce after divorce

This study is about divorced women in Sakarya and to establish reason of divorce an changing social roles and status of these women after divorce. This study is also prepare for attiacting attention to problems caused by divorce in our social structure whic changes constantly. So we can Express the aims of this study in the following sentences: 1. What are the difficulties of women during their marriege and after divorce ir their life? What are the causes of divorce? . 2. Do causes of divorce for women and social changing of their life after divorce change according to their ages, ethnic~ social and cultural structures, level a education; jobs, and status and kinds or marriage, periods of marriage and have their chilaren? iAccording to these aims, event of divorce in the process of social changing, social and cultural factors which causes divorce and marriage in Turkey, divorce and status a ~omen are titles of this study. Also researcher improves a guestionaire which has 37 items about demoghraphic features of divorced women, characteristics in their marriage, structure of their family, causes of divorce and their social relations after divorce. Thi guestionaire's results are subjected to khi-kare analysis. (rhese are discoverjes from this study: Cause of divorce of women in the high rate is existince of other person. When we look this topic, we can see causes of divorce change according to age of women, period of their marriage, level of education, their jobs and status. Rate of violence during the marriage of divorced women is high. There is no relations between diversity of ethnics and cultural structures and divorce. Women lose their income caused by divorce. Economical anxiety and responibility of their children are the most intensive stres for women after divorce. Divorced women lose their social periphery after divorce but this situation can be compensated. Keywords:
