Abstract (EN)

In this study, performing methods on major scale modes and chord progressions with saz/baglama tuned to "bozuk duzen" is presented. The aim of this study is to determine the positional relations of modal scales and chords with each other on the instrument keyboard and to contribute to determining the possibilities of performing in twelve tones through modal maps. For this purpose, theoretical information on the subject has been given as a basis within the framework of the limitations of the study, and a basis has been created for the performance methods to be transferred by associating the model with the defined saz. The performance methods, which were developed in an effort to reveal the polyphonic elements of the "bozuk duzen" tuning system of the instrument and to constitute a source for similar studies to be done later, with a different perspective, were supported by the original etudes in a separate section in this study. Finally, the results obtained within the scope of this study and suggestions about the execution methods were shared at the end of this study.
