Abstract (EN)
Is thesis, the doping of Erbium (Er) rare earth element at certain stoichiometric ratios instead of Calcium (Ca) alkali metal in the BSCCO superconducting system will be investigated. It should be emphasized here that for the Er doped BSCCO high temperature superconducting system, the effective ionic radius values of Er and Ca atoms are very close to each other, which makes this study possible from a stoichiometric point of view. However, structurally, it was observed that Er was not a good choice and shifted from the superconducting phase to the semiconducting phase as the doping ratio increased. The pure BSCCO system was shown to have 14% better critical current density value than the doped superconducting sample at the same temperature.
