ABSTRACT Buildup factors for low energy gamma photons insident on water slabs were calculated by using Monte Carlo Method (EGS4). These values include coherent (Rayleigh) and incoherent (Compton) scatterings. The linear attenuation coefficients for these low energies and the scattering angles of Compton scattering were also calculated. u
