Abstract (EN)
Pattern and Technical Analysis of the Weavings Identified in Burdur Aziziye Village has been chosen as the subject of the study. Aziziye village of Burdur is one of the places where weaving culture continues in Anatolia. Aziziye village is a settlement where Sarıkeçilis have lived from past to present. Therefore, it is a weaving centre where various weavings produced by Sarıkeçilis are abundant. Today, weaving production specific to the village has come to an end. However, it has been observed that the people living in the village, especially those belonging to the Sarıkeçili tribe, have various weavings such as bags, çarpana-kolan, sacks, saddlebags, hair tents, rugs, prayer rugs, table cloths and pillows that were produced in the past and preserved today. While most of these weavings were woven for daily use, some were produced for dowry. In the houses visited during the field research, it was also observed that there were many examples in the dowry chests belonging to the household owners. The study was conducted through literature review, field research and oral interview techniques. Within the scope of the research, field research was conducted in 5 neighborhoods in Aziziye village. A total of 107 weaving samples were found in 9 houses and wedding halls in the neighborhoods. The samples were examined and photographed in terms of their technical characteristics (material, size, area of use, colour, pattern, composition). For each sample, an information form was created under the title of Catalogue, which includes detailed information, photographs and drawings. In the catalogue section, 59 samples with similar characteristics among 107 weavings were included. With this study, it is aimed to document the weavings found in Aziziye village, especially those belonging to the Sarıkeçili nomads, and to bring them to the literature. Although Aziziye village is a well-known village in terms of keeping the Yoruk culture alive, the fact that not enough studies have been carried out in this field before has given importance to this study.
