Abstract (EN)

Turkey has rich geography in point of water resources. However, water level reductions occur in the water resources of our country caused by climate changes. In this study, a statistical analysis was done of the change between the level and volume changes and climate parameters of Burdur Lake, which is located between Isparta and Burdur provinces of our country, correlation analysis method was used as the statistical analysis method. When the climate parameters between 1975 and 2020 were examined in Burdur Lake and its basin, it was seen that temperature and evaporation increased over the long annual period, although decreases and increases appeared from time to time. The increase in temperature and evaporation naturally led to decreases in lake level and volume. When looking at the climate parameters, average increase of 2.03 °C in temperature, a 17.21% increase in evaporation, and as average reduction of 6% in rain were detected in the long annual period. A negative moderately relationship between temperature and lake level and volume, a negative moderately relationship between evaporation and the lake level and volume, and a negative weak meaning relationship between rain and lake level and volume were detected. It has been concluded that changes in lake level and volume depend on evaporation and changes in temperature rather than rainfall. The balance sheet plan has been calculated with estimated climate projections and estimated lake parameters between 2021 and 2050, recommendations were made and it was seen that the decrease could not be prevented in the lake unless precautions are taken.
