With the development of technology in today, significant increases in the variety and quantity of production-based equipment have come to the fore, but this situation has led to serious problems affecting safety and health. Burdur-Karaçal Marble Quarry Plant, which is affiliated to Antalya Marble Industry Teasing and Limited Company and where this study is carried out, started production in September of 2013. This company produces an average of 40000 tons per year and ninety percent of the production is exported as block marble. The remaining part is left as finished product in the factory and exported. Accordingly, Fine Kinney and L-type matrix risk assessment methods which accepted as references by Risk Assessment Directives, which were issued within the framework of Law No. 6331 on Occupational Health and Safety were compared and the most appropriate risk assessment method was determined.
