Abstract (EN)
Analyzing of the features of the dolls made in the district Keles of the province Bursa, the dolls' contribution to regional economy, promotion of the region and tourism, district's clothing culture were aimed to be investigated with this study prepared as master thesis in Handicrafts Art Major of Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University Postgraduate Education Institute. The first step was literature scanning. The research is composed of four parts. Issues such as the situation of the problem, the aim and the importance of the research, hypotheses, restrictions, definitions, research methods and related researches were included in the first part. In the second part, theoretical frame and related researches were included. Research findings were included in the third part. The questionnaire form has 17 questions. The qustionnaires were applied to 30 people. The analyzes of the datas was done using SPSS 22.00 program and interpreted given as charts in the third part. According to the questionnaire results, the individuals who have been interested in making regional artificial doll are all women. Most of them are housewife and have been living in Keles for 16 years or more than 16 years. Also, there are some individuals from different profession groups who are interested in this art. While most of them are primary school graduates, a few of them are high school and university graduates. Most of the individuals have been introduced to this art thanks to their friend circles. While most of the individuals have started to get interested in this art as it reflects their culture and they earn money doing it, a few of them have started as a hobby. Most of them advise this art to the other people. All of them use plastic doll as doll and think they make a contribution to the promotion of the region with the dolls they have made. Individuals think that napkin (önaba, peşkir), socks, and string (dizge) are, in order, difficult to make. They also think that providing the continuity of the public education courses and attandence to festivals and exhibitions are must for the promotion of the regional artificial dolls in both domestic and foreign tourism. Regional artificial dolls information forms were prepared by taking the photos of the regional artificial dolls made in Keles. And similarly, clothes information forms were prepared by taking the photos of the clothes. Examination date, place, regional name, purpose of using, dating of the clothes, material used, techniques and colours were examined with the information forms prepared and phases of making were told in the composition part. Additionally, source contact was formed. There are 32 information forms of dolls which were got dressed regionally. 26 of them were female dolls and 6 of them were male dolls. Woman and man clothes which belong to region were explained with the information forms inside them. There are 15 information forms about woman clothes and 12 information forms about the man clothes. In the fourth part, there are conclusion and suggestions parts. Followingly, there are sources, additions and CV. In the additions part, there are examples of the information forms and questionnaire form which were used. This study has importance in the sense of the promotion of the regional artificial dolls made in Keles and the region in domestic and foreign tourism. And accordingly, suggestions were made.
