Analysis of meteorological data of Bursa city

Bursa Province has 28 stations that make meteorological measurements. In the study of examining the meteorological data of Bursa province, data were taken from two stations and evaluated because of the long years of data set. These stations are; Bursa Station with station number 17116 (Fuat Kuşcu Caddesi Yunuseli Yolu) and Yenişehir Station (Yenişehir Airport) with station number 17118. In the thesis, two meteorology stations in Bursa will be named as Bursa Station and Yenişehir Station. In this study, it was aimed to analyze the temperature and precipitation trend of Bursa by examining the meteorological parameters of both stations according to years and months and examining the scenario results according to climate projections. As a result of the investigations carried out at two stations, it was observed that Yenişehir station showed a more optimistic picture than Bursa station. In meteorological parameters, it was recorded that there was an increase in the number of clear days, strong windy days and temperature, and a decrease in the number of days with snow, snow covered days, frost days, and closed days. It was observed that the precipitation parameter was irregular. For the climate projections, temperature increase was recorded for Bursa province according to each model and scenario. Although a decrease in precipitation is generally expected, it is observed that there is no continuous increase or decrease trend, and that precipitation irregularities tend to increase. When comparing the results of the retroactive 40-year meteorological parameters of Bursa and the climate projection results, it is seen that the results overlap.
