Conflict of evidences, and the rules of preference in Ja'fari jurisprudence method

The Ja'fariyya sect took its name from Ja'far es-Sadik, who was accepted as an innocent imam by its members and was also accepted by the Sunnis. This sect is a group whose political aspect predominates besides being a creed. The aforementioned sect, which is divided into two schools, Ahbariyye and Usûliyye, followed different paths while resolving the news that were considered to be conflict. While Ahbariyye put the narrations of imams who are generally accepted as innocent in the first place, Usûliyya used the method of presenting evidence by doing research. As a natural consequence of being a political sect, those who hold both views attached great importance to the imams, whom they considered innocent. This study consists of an introduction and three parts. In the first part, we discussed the birth, formation, phases and emerging sects of Ja'fari jurisprudence. In the second part, we discussed the issues of conflict and qualification of evidence, and the types of conflict. Since the majority of Ja'fari scholars have studied the issue of conflict under the title of equivalence, we have also explained the concept of equivalence. In particular, we also explained the concept of being undecided about whether or not Allah's consent is, which we encountered for the first time while explaining this subject. We have added the reasons for preferring the evidences, which lead to being undecided about whether or not Allah's consent is in the subject of resolving the conflict. In the third part, we have examined and explained in detail the issues of gathering and harmonizing the evidences, choosing one of the two evidences by presenting the reason for preference, the annulment of the previous evidence with the later evidence, nullification of two contradictory evidences, choosing one of the two evidences without finding a reason for preference and waiting of the scholar without commenting on the subject, which are the ways of the scholars to resolve the conflict.
