Özet (EN)
Evaluation of Mechanical Strength of Different All-Ceramic Blocks Produced with CAD/CAM Technology Under Chewing Force Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate the mechanical strength of all-ceramic blocks produced with CAD/CAM technology under masticatory force. Materials and Method: Cerec Tessera, Amber Mill, IPS e.max CAD were used as CAD/CAM all-ceramic blocks. A total of 30 specimens were prepared, 10 from each specimen group. SEM, AFM and surface contact angle analysis were performed to evaluate the topographic surface properties of the specimens before any treatment. The specimens were dynamically loaded with a dual-axis mastication simulator. After the planned cycle value was completed, the analyses were repeated to determine the changes in surface properties. The flexural strength of the specimens was determined with a biaxial flexural strength tester. Statistical analysis was performed. Results: As a result of the analyses performed before and after dynamic loading in the chewing simulator, an increase in the rough surfaces of the samples and pits were detected. The wettability of the samples decreased. The average flexural strength of the IPS e max CAD sample group was found to be 84.17 MPa. Cerec Tessera sample group showed the highest average bending strength with 102.42 MPa. The average flexural strength of the Amber Mill sample group was 98.62 MPa. Conclusion: As a result of the dynamic loading in the chewing simulator, it was found that the bending strength of the material decreased in long-term use. No significant difference was found between the sample groups. Keywords: CAD/CAM, Chewing Simulator, Full Ceramic
