Display and place relations in modern museum

One of the human's missions is the phenomenon of transfer from generations to generations which has the biggest role for creation of museums. What is a Museum? Is a museum only a place where you store the objects inside a few showcases? Modern museology gives answers to how the phenomenon of transfer can be done more effectively. Every museum has a story. The story of the museum should be discovered at the beginning of the editing process. The story should take off the visitors from ordinary museum visit experience and should be able to involve the visitors in the story to make them understand the "fundamental". In this context the museology involves a process which makes the museum unique, understandable, accessible. Alongside the story, display and place concept is involved in the process. Design of the place and story make the phenomenon of transfer more successful as well as the museum's classical and ordinary practice will be changed. In modern museology, the showcases are not stand- alone. Alongside of the showcases, there are many actors parallel to the displayed object in a museum. Among them interactive practice, graphical practice, animating or models, realistic silicone sculpture, sound systems and many other factors that technology ıs providing can be counted inside the new approach of museology. The master thesis will try to explain how the practice of display and place relations in museums is able to address all parts of the society. The study also will take into account the security dimension of the museums while the new approach will be applied.
