Abstract (EN)

This research aims to thoroughly examine the integration of new generation technologies into contemporary ceramic art within the framework of sustainability. The study first explores the origins, development, and core principles of the concept of sustainability, followed by an evaluation of its implications in the field of art within a historical context. The relationship between art and nature, from prehistoric times to the present, is analyzed through sustainable material usage, conceptual transformations, and period-specific changes. The focus of the study lies in the growing significance of recycling practices, technological advancements, automation systems, and energy-efficient firing methods within both contemporary ceramic art and the ceramic industry. Their contributions to production processes and their impact on sustainability are discussed in detail. The influence of these technologies on contemporary ceramic practices is illustrated through recent projects, artist applications, and selected artworks. The potential they hold for the future of ceramics and the opportunities they offer for sustainable production are explored extensively. The relationship between ceramic art, technology, and sustainability is examined from an interdisciplinary perspective, with the goal of offering a unique and original contribution to the field.
