Abstract (EN)
The art of theater has been in long pursuit since age of Ancient Greece to the present day, nearly 30 centuries. One of the reason of this research can be hidden in the popularity of theatre arts. The arts of theatre has been tried to find its future path by the quest for self-return and making queries in itself. Contemporary theater practitioners such as playwright, actor/actress have taken place in the history of theatre by maintained this research most comprehensively and consistently. The contemporary theater practitioners has made experiments particularly for the relationship between actors and audience. They went to deeply long journey to the source of theatre arts as they did this research.This study is build on the contemporary theatre parctitioners' quests in order to determine source of theatre, the relationship between actors and audinence, moreover, trying audince are to be involved in directly to the play. Three theatre director Peter Brook, Jerzy Grotowski and Augusto Boal who were studying and researching on the relationship between play-audience, actors-audience will be discussed in this thesis. Overall structure of the work will be determined by applications of these directors for the direct participation of the audience in theatre.
