Values education in Cahit Kaya's works

In the thesis, Cahit Kaya's 12 selected works were examined in terms of values education. It is believed that the study will contribute to the field since no academic research has been conducted on Cahit Kaya so far. In this study, document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The boks were analyzed one by one in terms of education of values. Expressions related to that value are evaluated under the relevant title in the book. The Works were examined by comparison as stories and novels, taking into account the text types. It has been determined that the most common value in the analyzed works is love. It has been seen that reasoning out of love and giving importance to being healthy are also frequently covered. Apart from love, reasoning and giving importance to being healthy have also been observed frequently. It was observed that there was no significant difference in terms of text types. In general, it can be concluded that Cahit Kaya's works are at a level wich will contribute to the field in term of values education.
