Abstract (EN)
In this study, the zooplankton fauna of Çalgan Stream were investigated. Samplings were montly made from 3 different stations between July 2010 and June 2011. Temperature, pH and dissolved oxygen of water were determined in each station and the lowest and highest values were found as 7.1-29.30C, 7.9-8.6, and 3.2-6.8 mg/L respectively. Zooplankton samples were taken by means of 55 ?m mesh-sized Hydro-Bios plankton net and were preserved in 4% formaldehyde. In the study, 20 species belonging to 9 families within Rotifera, 6 species belonging to 4 families within Copepoda and 1 species belonging to 1 families within Copepoda were determined. These species are: Brachionus angularis, Keratella cochlearis, Keratella quadrata, Notholca acuminata, Notholca squamula, Euchlanis dilatata, Trichotria tetractis, Colurella adriatica, Lepadella ovalis, Lepadella quadricarinata, Lecane luna, Lecane bulla, Lecane closterocerca, Lecane lunaris, Cephalodella gibba, Trichocerca capucina, Ascomorpha saltans, Synchaeta pectinata, Polyarthra dolichoptera, Asplanchna priodonta, Sida crystallina, Diaphonosoma lacustris, Daphnia cucullata, Bosmina longirostris, Chydorus sphaericus, Leptodora kindtii ve Cyclops vicinus. The biological datas were evaluated as specıes richress, number of indiviuals, frequency of occurrence and similarity index.Key Words: Rotifera, Copepoda, Cladocera, Çalgan Stream
