THE ANALYSIS OF DEMANDS ON EMPLOYED CHEMICAL ENGINEERSABOUT THE CHEMICAL ENGINEERING TRAINING(M. Sc. Thesis)Mehmet BESLEMEGAZİ UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYSeptember 2006ABSTRACTThe advancements in science and technology is effecting the science ofchemical engineering and the training programs. We studied the reflectionsand the effects of these advancements on our countries chemical industry andengineering programs. The demands of the customers for the applications of the training programson quality and accreditation are necessary and important but hard to obtainabstract information. A critical comparision of the information and abilityrequired in the field and the education provided in the chemical engineeringdepartments of our universities was made by using a wide range study. Whichcourses should be tought in depth and which courses are not useful in practiceare questioned.Science Code : 912.1.070Key Words : The developments and the expectations of thechemical industry, chemical engineering, technology, engineer, research, questionnaire, improvement in training, quality applications fortrainingPage Number : 144Adviser : Prof. Dr. İskender ÖKSÜZ
