Abstract (EN)

In scientific research today, mindfulness has come to the fore. Mindfulness is that one is positively aware of everything that is happening at the moment. Mindfulness is the experience of thinking and awareness. This research was conducted to examine the relationships between employees ' levels of mindfulness and burnout and emotional intelligence. Individuals working in Istanbul were included in the sample group. The sample of the study consists of 300 participants through random sampling. The Personal Information Form, Mindfulness Scale (MS), Emotional Intelligence Scale (EIS) and Maslach Burnout Scale (MBS) were applied to collect the data of the study. In the findings of the study, when the criteria for evaluating scale expressions are taken into account, it is understood that there are moderate negative and positive relationships between mindfulness and burnout and emotional intelligence of the employees included in the study. Based on the results of the study, it was observed that as mindfulness increases, the sense of burnout decreases, while emotional intelligence increases. Although important findings were identified in this study, which investigated the relationship between the levels of mindfulness, burnout and emotional intelligence of employees, the research should be evaluated within the framework of some limitations. Since the results of the study are limited to the selected sample, it will be possible to generalize the results with research on a larger sample.
