Abstract (EN)

In this study, it has been tried to develop a model within the framework of applications and needs carried out in research infrastructure centers through the concepts of "performance appraisal" and "wage management", which are one of the most important functions of human resources management. Within the scope of the research, data were obtained by using the interview method, which is one of the qualitative research methods, with 21 participants working in the research infrastructure center. The themes were reached within the scope of the purpose of the research within the framework of the sample statements taken from the participants. As a result, in the analyzes made, it was determined that the emphasis of the job description came to the fore in the themes such as the effect of the job description on the performance, the reflection of the expectations from the institutions on the performance and the wage, the effect of the expectations from the employees on the performance, the effect of the risk on the performance and wage expectation, and the employment-wage balance. Therefore, it is possible to say that the main determinant of the relationship between performance and wages in the research infrastructure center is the job description. Another important result is the existence of risks. It has been determined that as the risk increases, there are imbalances in the performance of the employees, but the risks can be ignored with the introduction of the wage phenomenon. Keywords: performance appraisal, wage management, performance management, research infrastructure centers.
