Abstract (EN)
Today, technological innovations have facilitated the transfer of knowledge and skills in a fast and healthy manner with the phenomenon of globalization. Businesses and organizations as a whole focus more on the human factor working in the organizations, in other words, human capital in order to survive in a healthy way, to achieve competitive advantage and to perform their activities as required by the age. Because the human capital, unlike machinery, equipment, building etc., isn't easy to be imitated and transferred. Emotional labor is a behavior that organizations must achieve in ensuring customer satisfaction. Considering these facts, it is seen that emotional labor has become an important issue in the organizational behavior literature. Moreover, emotional intelligence and organizational justice are considered as important factors in the achievement of emotional labor. In this study, it has been examined whether emotional intelligence and organizational justice affect emotional labor or not; if it does, how? The population of the study consists of health workers in the provinces of Adıyaman and Rize. The questionnaire method has been used as data collection tool. Data have been analyzed using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0 programs. As a result of the study, a significant positive correlation has been found between emotional intelligence and deep acting and genuine emotion. A significant negative correlation has been found between emotional intelligence and surface acting. No relationship has been found between organizational justice and emotional intelligence.
