Viewpoint of workers to flexible empolyment and a case of study in Trabzon

03. Summary Recently, the improvements which have appeared in technology, the new production techniques due to these improvements, globalisation and the increasing international rivalry have influenced working life and have caused the coming out of flexible working models. The aim of this thesis define the approach of employees about flexible working. The first chapter of this study which is composed by three different chapters is about the flexible working concept, about the facts which are necessitating flexible working and about all the flexible working models. The aim of the second chapter is to analyse with a conceptual approach what are the effects caused by the flexible working system over the employees. At the third chapter Trabzon city is taken as a basis for a field research. The study end with an application of this research. During the field research, survey method had been used. Later statistical tests had been realized and so we have tried to define the approach of employees about flexible working. In conclusion of the field research we have noted that 77 % of the persons who have been interrogated have a positive opinion about this type of working system. Despite of this fact, only 47 % of the persons who have been interrogated are satisfied by the salary they earn. The participants to this survey have also specified that the most important advantage of flexible employment is that it provides you the opportuneness to use time like you want. Besides that, according to the participants, the most important disadvantage of flexible employment is that the salaries are not enough. VIII
