The factors of employees motivation: The sample of public institution

The element of motivation is the fact that the labor factor, which is known as the most important value in both public and private sectors, is felt to be evaluated effectively and efficiently. Motivation is one of the most important factors in achieving success and sustainability as a fact that enables employees to be willing and take action. The provincial organization of the General Directorate of Security, which is a public institution, is a scale-based practical study. The study consists of a questionnaire for the employees of Mustafakemalpaşa District Police Department of Bursa Provincial Security Directorate. The questionnaire, consisting of the perspective of managers, psycho-social, organizational, economic and physical competencies, consists of 45 questions about the factors that affect the motivation of the employees. And 7 questions about the demographic characteristics of the participants, totaling 5 pages and 52 questions.2 of survey forms unreturned, 132 of survey forms returned from distributed 134 survey forms. Of the 134 questionnaires distributed, 2 were not returned, 132 were delivered, 20 were not completed, 4 were not evaluated, and the remaining 108 questionnaires were taken into consideration. A package program was used to analyze the questionnaires completed by the participants. In the analysis of data, frequency distributions, arithmetic mean, independent group t-test, one-way anova were applied. The aim of this study is to determine the factors affecting the motivation of the officers of the District Police Department according to their demographic characteristics and to determine the relationship between them. With the findings obtained, it is aimed to present solutions to the managers in the context of activating the management function.
