Özet (EN)

Nowadays, the washing programs, which are previously determined by the engineers, are used in washing machines. The user chooses the one according to the type, quantity and the dirtiness level of clothes through these. Depending on the program selection, the parameters, which are required for the washing and rinsing, automatically are determined. These are the parameter; as water amount, water temperature, drum cycling velocity. But this choice always doesn?t accurate. In conclusion of this, It can be encountered with undesirable situations that unnecessary water and energy consumption, clothes aren?t cleaned effectively, damaged clothes. The base of solution of this problem is to make the user be independent from the program selection. However, it is used sensor for sensing different parameters of the clothes. The washing machine is controlled depending on the output of these sensors. In this study, the sensors usable in washing machine and the sensor measurement techniques have been researched. Fuzzy logic control has been chosen as the most suitable method for that the output of the sensors may be controlled. The washing algorithm has been developed using fuzzy logic. In algorithm, five different sensors have been used to control washing machine. These are temperature, pressure, turbidity, load and electrical conductivity sensor. According to these sensor values, the washing water temperature, drum cycle, amount of water, clothes type, and amount of detergent and repetition of rinsing are decided. Also, Realized this control has been simulated like real time. Using an object oriented programming language has created the simulation program. The program consists of two sections. The one of them is interface that the variety of parameter, which the user can see, is showed. The other one is the program that the fuzzy logic algorithm works, and gives information about the way of program. Thus, how to realize the washing is showed considering different input washing parameters.
