Visual analysis on laundry latch

The object has been designed and built by many societies and individuals from the past to the present day with the instinct of facilitating their daily needs and creating special spaces. It is known that objects have various impressions and effects on individuals. These objects also left sensory impressions on artists and became the main factor in the production of works. The aim of this research is to convert the clothes peg, which is the object of daily use, to a pictorial value by way of image. Here, the aim of the object to convey the importance of the audience and a variety of research, books, magazines, articles and internet resources were used. Western artists using objects on the counter have examined and in this context, the mechanisms of objects are developing together with the community and environmental influences. This thesis consists of four chapters. In the first part, the problem situation, purpose, importance, method, assumptions and limitations are discussed. analyzes were made on thirteen applications. The results reached in this context are given in the conclusion section. Together with the screening, the latch object was selected as the main element and various applications were made. In these embodiments, an abstract surface is used and the latches are arranged on the surface in a numbered manner. Abstraction has been made on the image of the pegs that exist throughout the applications. When using the canvas surface, this type of specimen was divided into several compartments to increase diversity. Works were produced by combining the place of object concept in our lives and deep and superficial feelings created by the individual with an abstract expression style. When the applications were considered in terms of plastic and style, the latch object and the researcher wanted to create an image.
