Review of Can Göknil's books in terms of child sensitivity

The purpose of this research is to identify messages about sensitivity in Can Göknil's children's books. For this purpose, a case study, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. 20 works of Can Göknil were examined as the material of the research. In collecting research data, descriptive analysis was used in document analysis and data analysis. Based on the 35 sensitivity categories determined, children's books were analyzed within the framework of these categories. According to the findings of the research, a total of 538 sensitivity category data were identified in Can Göknil's children's books. It has been determined that Can Göknil's works mostly include sensitivity to human emotions, sensitivity to animals, sensitivity to love, and sensitivity to friendship. Based on the research results, it is thought that the works examined will be effective in raising awareness among children.
