Abstract (EN)

Turkey, which is in a good condition for natural flower bulbs and tubers , is also in the lead of countries that get along together many species of Cyclamen around the world and it is accepted as one of the gene centres of Cyclamen hederifolium, which tubers are exported.Gradually, with the decrease of the fields because of the uncotrolled pulling outs where this plant is particular in Çanakkale and Kazdağı region , the generation of this species that is our important existence has rapidly begun to come to an end in its natural flora. For this reason, in the research ,with the grower conditions for growing up as an ornamental pot plant (indoor) and the different light turbulence intensities , the effects on the development of the plant and flowering under different photoperiods is studied in order to prevent the destruction of Cyclamen hederifolium in nature . This research , that we set up according to randomized plots factorial design , was realized with overall 90 pot plants with three replications in greenhouse without heating between the years 2005-2006 in the Application Centre in Dardanos Campus in Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University . In the plants , which are subjected to three different photoperiodic treatments according to changed light rage intensities in greenhouse conditions , becoming leaf and flowering periods and the numbers of leaf and flower were determined , measurements were done in the vegetative and generative organs of the plant according to definite periods, chlorophyll and total sugar analysis were realized with leaf samples in the laboratory. As a result , in the plants which are grown in half shadow in the daytime and given supplemental light at night , it was determined that flower yield and plant development puts forward important differences in the statistical view according to other applications .
