Özet (EN)

Scaling and corros,on proporties of the geothermal fluids are investigated in Tuzla and Kestanbol geothermal fields in this study. The area is in the borders of Tuzla, Kestanbol, Ayvacik, Kosedere and Babadere geothermal resources. First reservoir of the geothermal system is made up of the Permo-Triasaic calc schists and karstic marbless of the Karadag Basic Complex rocks. Neogene aged Ayvacik rhyolitic lawas and Behram ignimbrites are constituted the second reservoir of the geothermal system. Water samples were taken from nine selected points among October-Novamber 2013 period. Chemical and isotopic analyses were performed on the samples. The results of this analysis were used to inverse analysis method. Outlet water temperatures in the study area vary between 25-95 santigrat degree. According to silica geothermometer and cation geothermometer methods, reservoir temperatures were obtained 28-205, 95-235, santigrat degree, respectively. On the other hand, saturation index-temperature relation acquired from this shows that reservoir temperature is 150-160 santigrat degree. Scale samples were taken from taken seven points. The scales were examined in terms of their elemental composition, structure and morphology using XRF, XRD and SEM, respectively. The form was found to be mainly composed of calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, quartz and amorph silica. İn addition, galen, iron sulphide and zinc sulphide were determinated due to corrosion occuring. The results of inverse modeling indicate that calcite, aragonite and amorph silica are oversaturated in the thermal waters of the study area. Thermodynamic conditions of Hypersaline waters were investigated in all of the stages cover the reservoir to reinjection using inverse analysis method. Aquachem 2012.1 version, PHREEQCi and Oli Analyzer programs were used, and especially minerals saturation index and corrosion rate water obtained. İt is concluded, that inverse analysis method used in this study promises a contribution to the available methods for the solution of scaling problem.
