Abstract (EN)
Âşıklık Tradition which has an important place in Turkish culture has been carried from the past to now by Central Anatolia Region that the most important ring of this tradition. In some provinces in the Central Anatolia region is a pioneer in this tradition. Çankırı is the first province of these provinces as it is the bridge to Black Sea region to Central Anatolia Region and we can see the feature of showing an important link in the cultural sense of Âşıklık Tradition.19th century in Kastamonu there were men (wandering minstrel) doing this Âşıklık Tradition. Those days these men had great reputation but today they have lost their functions.Before wandering minstrel went to Kastamonu they had had a meeting in Yapraklı with minstrels who came various parts of the country.This was empower them. Then at the end of this fair they went to Kastamonu. Looking at the growing forms of wandering minstrel, Çankırı, is the place they have been in to practice apprenticeship skill to professional.The most important indicator of the 19th century Âşıklık Tradition comes from Çankırı today is that Çankırı?s wandering minstrels. There are important events and venues that help to this tradition live and develop. Among these Yaran culture is the most important one. In addition to this, fairs, festivals, weddings, coffeehouses, rooms in the villages, madrassas have the most significant impact to the continuity of the tradition of Âşıklık (minstrelsy).Transported from past to present representatives of this tradition and Çankırı?s articulators source are minstrels. For various reasons they have gone to different provinces of our country, but they bound their own hometown. One of today?s minstrels comes from Çankırı is Asik Durmazi (Durmaz Bilal), have been replaced in the instrument and with the lyrics of tradition, and compiled features integrated in his art.Asik Durmazi (Durmaz Bilal)?s poems in the tradition of minstrelsy evaluated measuring both the shape poems, both the content and features as well as of expression we see taking place within the tradition.Today Çankırı?s Âşıklık Tradition if discussed in terms of function seen in a variety of reasons cannot protect the old power. With regard to the protection of culture in the increasingly conscious folk tradition of minstrelsy, it is expected to access to old force. The most important evidence, in 2005, there was a meeting of minstrels in Çankırı.
