Abstract (EN)
In today's conditions, it is getting more and more difficult to reach clean and high quality water all over the world. When Turkey's water potential values and statistical data are examined, we are faced with the fact that our country is on the way to becoming a water-poor country. For this reason, it is necessary to measure and determine the level, quality and parameters of groundwater, which is an important wealth in drinking, use and irrigation, marking and monitoring its usability. In this study, it is aimed to determine the spatial distribution of groundwater parameters and to produce thematic maps for Konya province with the help of Geographic Information System (GIS). Within the scope of the research, general characteristics of the study area, meteorological and hydrological characteristics, geological and hydrogeological parameters, static water level map, dynamic water level map, pump efficiency maps were processed using GIS technology. Field values of EC and pH parameters of groundwater in Konya, cation (Na, K, Mg, Ca) and anion (HCO3, Cl, NO3, SO4) values determined as a result of chemical analysis, and density maps of trace elements determined as a result of human in water. Water pollution distribution maps were created by considering the limit values of As, Cl, elements and NO3, SO4 components that affect health. The findings obtained at the end of the study were compared with the relevant literature and discussed and some suggestions were made.
