Abstract (EN)

Application areas of steel prefabric structures in the world as well as in our country have been increasing.They were used for construction of industrial plants only but recently they are being used broadly for domestic buildings either.In this study a general information about the history of the steel sturctures in our country, their structural specifications, advantages; manufacturing, assembling and isolation methods were given.Coatings used for construction elements of the steel prefabric structures, how they are applied to the specific parts have been studied. Besides; water, sound and heat isolation on the steel parts , which have been mendatory by law, is discussed regarding their application techniques and how to decide which coating should be selected for a particular application.Having so many alternatives in the market for coating and isolation materials made is a difficult task to decide on the correct item to beused.Thus, in this study it was also aimed to provide information about cost analysis to help in making the decision and the designing of the construction materials in a more appropriate way.During the research four most commonly used construction models have been considered and the cost analysis of the coating and the isolation materials have been made besed on the current market rates.Research have shown that diffrent application tehcniques of the same coatings or the isolation materials for the steel prefabric constructions yielded remarkably different cost results. Therfore having this information in hand will help to make the best material and method decesion for the lowest cost possible.Key Words: Prefabric, steel, isolation, cost analysis, coatingmaterials, isolation materials
